Saint Paul Perinatal Mental Health Therapy

I am passionate about providing support for new parents as they transition into parenthood. I have specialized training in Maternal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and 2020 Mom, and I am a trained Postpartum Doula. I can help mothers and fathers to understand the potential challenges and difficulties they may face following the birth of a child. Even if it’s not your first child, you may find yourself struggling with feelings of depression, isolation, and inadequacy just to name a few. It’s important to understand that you’re not going through this alone, and your feelings are common. Many parents experience a whole range of emotions and difficulties following the birth of a child, and it’s not always easy to cope. If you’re ready to start the journey to become the best possible parent, I’m here to help. Call my Saint Paul office to schedule your first session today.

The Value of My Personal Experience

After the birth of my first child, I was surprised to find that this overwhelming life change left me feeling alone and unsure. I started to talk about just how hard everything was - sleeping, feeding, going places, doing anything that made me feel like me - with other moms, and was shocked to learn that all of them felt the exact same way! Why didn’t anyone tell me it would be this difficult? This experience spurred me to use my clinical and therapeutic experience and expertise to support parents during this challenging time.

Should I Consider Perinatal Mental Health Therapy?

Contact me today to set up a free 20-minute phone consultation. During this brief conversation, I will be happy to answer your questions and discuss therapy options, but you should think of this initial discussion as more of a get-to-know-you session.
